  1. The NY Funders Alliance Board of Directors has hired a new Executive Director. Corinne Ribble has been hired to replace Lisa Fasolo Frishman who left the organization in October 2016. Ribble will begin in her role on Monday, January 30th. Read the Full Story Here.
  2. In a country with more than 1.5 million nonprofits, determining how and where you can do the most good with the money you have can be daunting. The Center for High Impact Philanthropy at the University of Pennsylvania works to help people navigate that problem and maximize the effective of their giving.   3. GoFundMe has helped more than 2 million campaigns raise more than $3 billion and has plans to grow that number to $40 billion over the next 10 years.
