Vu Lee recently held a convening of over 100 nonprofits on this topic, and after speaking with leaders from marginalized communities he came away with a set of recommendations on how foundations can best serve in this vital role. - The Ford Foundation has housed its archives at the Rockefeller Archive Center (RAC) since 2011. Since moving them there, the foundation has engaged in several innovative programs with the RAC where archivists and researchers have worked with foundation staff to understand how the foundation’s past might inform its contemporary practice.
