  1. Are you fed up with infuriating tweets? A new donation platform helps people turn a moment of rage into charitable giving by simply replying to an infuriating tweet. The app is called Trigger and its goal is to allow users to react to hostile media posts in a productive way. Read the Full Story Here.
  2. Trends change every year, bringing new opportunities that are tied to new challenges. Many of them impact donor and volunteer perceptions.   3. State workforce and economic development interests naturally align. However, state-level collaboration between economic development and workforce development agencies is not well understood. NPR readers asked a question: “When a humanitarian group has helped a community become self-sustaining, how can the group create a good ‘exit-strategy.'” The answer, was to create the exit strategy from the get-go. While not all funders face this exact challenge in their day-to-day work, the advice on how an organization can remove themselves after providing support, aid, or relief are broadly applicable.
