Our thoughts and condolences go out to the victims and their loved ones affected by the mass shooting in Buffalo on May 14th. This horrific event has emphasized the deep need of addressing racism and hate crimes that communities across our nation are facing.
NY Funders Alliance condemns all hate crimes, and we continue to work with our members and our network to provide resources for the communities impacted by this tragedy. We have compiled a list of ongoing resources from our partners around the sector, as we all work together to heal from this horrible incident.
In addition to the list of resources below, it should be noted that two funds have been created in an effort to help our neighbors in Buffalo: Buffalo 5/14 Survivors Fund and VOICE Buffalo’s Radical Love Fund.
