Thank you for joining us in….

A signature of NY Funders Alliance is the presentation of high-quality programming, connection opportunities, and networking forums for grantmakers who work and fund in New York State. The 2023 NYS Funders Conference was held on Thursday, October 12, 2023 in Syracuse, NY at the historic Marriott Syracuse Downtown. Pre-Conference activities were held on Wednesday, October 11th and included a participatory budgeting simulation, an interactive workshop on trust-based philanthropy, a bus tour of philanthropy in action in Syracuse, and a reception at the Salt City Market.

“Beautifully executed, as always.” – 2023 Conference Attendee
The 2023 NYS Funders Conference convened 156 grantmakers from all corners of New York State for a full day of educational and networking opportunities. Attendees represented all types of philanthropic organizations including community foundations, private foundations, family foundations, United Ways, and corporate giving programs, each with a range of funding interests and priorities. The conference agenda included NY Funders Alliance annual membership meeting, a networking luncheon, as well as multiple connection and engagement opportunities for funders to learn from colleagues and form new partnerships. 99% of attendees rated the conference as “Good” or “Excellent”. Funders Conference attendees consistently appreciate the ability to learn with and from each other while hearing from national experts in the field.
The speakers, sessions, and special touches throughout the conference would not be possible without the generous partnership of our valued sponsors and exhibitors.

We are also excited to feature our Showcase level exhibitors this year! Thank you Foundant and Blackbaud.
